About the circuit
The Circuito de Almeria is a motorsport facility located approximately 30 km northeast of Almería in Spain. With a length of 4.2 km, the Circuito de Almeria is one of the associated tracks of the Iberia Motorsport Park. The Circuito de Almería is mainly used for motorsport competitions. This was the first facility to be built in 1998 and opened in 2000. The 4.31 km long Andalucia Circuit was built in the immediate vicinity in 2016 and is primarily used for motorcycle training and track days. In 2018, the Andalucia Circuit was expanded to include a 1.055km straight - this is the longest straight in Spain. At the end of this straight, a short connection to the Circuito de Almería was created. The overall variant with a length of 9.22 km is known as the Iberia Circuit, but is used exclusively for training, track days and test days.
