Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of MYLAPTIMES at www.mylaptimes.ch and the related services. By registering or continuing to use the platform you accept them.

“We”: the controller named in the imprint. “You”: a visitor or account holder. “Content”: lap times, texts, photos, comments, profile details.

Your details must be accurate. An account is personal. The product does not store a minimum age; the platform is aimed at adult track-day riders. Keep your password secret.

You remain the rights holder. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute your content on MYLAPTIMES to the extent your visibility allows (public, followers, private). Public times may appear in leaderboards. You may only post content for which you hold the necessary rights (no third-party photos without permission).

Use is personal and non-commercial, and must not harm us. Harassment, insults, unlawful content, scraping, bypassing security, and falsifying times in a way that misleads others are forbidden.

The brand, design, circuit database and software remain ours or the respective rights holders’. No copying or redistribution except for private use of the platform.

The event calendar (including crawled data), weather (Visual Crossing) and leaderboards come with no promise of accuracy or completeness. They do not replace official timing or the organiser’s information.

We are not liable for slight negligence in unpaid use, as far as the law allows. Liability for gross negligence, intent and personal injury remains unaffected.

We are not responsible for third-party sites.

We may suspend accounts or remove content if these terms are broken. You can request deletion of your account by email.

A new version applies when it is published on this page. Continued use afterwards counts as acceptance.

If one clause is invalid, the rest stays in force.

Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts of the Canton of Aargau have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer venue says otherwise.
