About the circuit

The Circuito de Cartagena is a permanent race track in the Murcia region of Spain, and was opened in 1992. The 3.506-kilometre (2.22 mi) circuit features 18 corners arranged in a fluid layout and is characterized by its technical challenge. It is driven in a clockwise direction and features both fast sections and tight combinations of corners that require precise driving.

The circuit is often used for motorcycle and car track days and serves as a popular test track for teams due to its mild climate and good conditions. In addition to racing events, the Circuito de Cartagena is also a magnet for amateur athletes looking to improve their skills. The facility offers basic infrastructure such as pits and a paddock, making it ideal for training and smaller events.
