About the circuit
Sundgau Karting is an outdoor circuit on the Windenhof site in Steinsoultz, in the Sundgau region of Alsace (Haut-Rhin, France), close to the Swiss and German borders. The track was homologated in category 1 in April 2000 and welcomes casual drivers as well as competitive kart racers.
The asphalt layout is 1,400 metres long, six to eight metres wide and has 15 corners. It mixes fast straights with quick bends, hairpins and chicanes. Besides rental karts, the circuit can be used by competition karts, supermotos, quads and pocket bikes.
The venue is a typical day-trip destination from Mulhouse, Basel and Belfort. Alongside hire sessions it hosts club days, company events and training. The rural Sundgau setting gives the outdoor track a quiet backdrop.
